Hello, so my mum and her partner are going away for a week in a few months and she has asked us to look after her marine fish (we'll ignore the fact that I am nervous about that part), as they need feeding twice a day we will need to stay at their house while they are away. Would it be okay to bring the boys with us when we go? Will the change of environment distress them? They haven't travelled since we first got them so I am just a little worried. (It isn't far, it is a 10 min car journey max which my mum has offered to take us all there before they go and back when they get back).

I think that it’s okay for the boys to go, the new change of environment won’t distress them, but they will probably take a little bit of time to get used to the new environment.

They’ll be fine. Piggies travel pretty well. I would take them with their dirty bedding. And change it while there.

I have clients who visit me for nail clipping or boarding, generally they are only nervous because of the change of smell. A little reward at the end of the journey will make them feel okay.
