So I noticed my carpet in my room is starting to smell I wanted to get a steam mop that only uses water (I believe the smell is from letting my boys free roam) is using a steam mop safe and ok?

Steam mops are best for non carpet floors. Thing with steam, you can't really dry out your underlay. Not sure what the solution is for you.

The steam mop o found is double standard I believe that's the correct term I found someone else using it on this forum and it's a steam mop for carpets and wood floors And I might sound a little stupid but what do you mean by dry out your underlay

I've had my carpets steamed. I don't think it should upset your pigs as it's just water. Is their cage on the floor? Maybe raise it up so the carpet can dry. It remains damp for 24 hours.

Alright thank you so much 🙏
