Hi me again and once again regarding my beloved Steve. He is healthy in himself! Still eating/drinking etc but his toileting!

He has been making squeaking noises for a couple of days now and lifting his bum up. I wasn't overly anxious regarding it because it happens on off and used to occur with Mo also. Once again it seems to occur with urinating but he does normally poo and wee at the same time lol. There's no blood. And no sludge. The wees tend to be quite white but they vary as with the size of his poos. Right now his poos have decreased in size but as of yesterday were normal. As I type he just did the toilet and squeaked again but is popcorning and burrowing under my bed.

He has recently been to the vet when I took him for the emergency bloat issue (false alarm lol) and she assured me he was perfectly healthy and noticed no abnormalities including stones etc or pain in his nether regions. I've cleaned his penis and anal sack thinking it might just be hay? Yesterday I didn't notice it as much but tonight since coming home once again it's happening. I suspect it'll be another vet visit but am I right to be whittling again or can I take a little breath and reassure myself he will be ok?,

He literally just weed and pooed here. The poo is perfectly normal looking par size but often the size changes with my boys...and no blood or pink tinge in any of the urine

Keep an eye out on his pees as he may be developing a urinary tract infection or cystitis; right now it is at the best in its very early stages and not easily diagnosable. The ups and downs of spring weather are a typical time of year for infections.

Some piggies can really put you through mill! :(

Thank you I'm more worried about a stone but surely there would be blood? I know there can be blood in urine that isn't visible but I just always assumed I'd see it you know and perhaps with a stone he'd lose appetite. I'd say it's been occurring for three days now. (Discounting yesterday because he was quiet). I don't want to stress him out unnecessarily bit obviously don't want him in pain.

Many thanks @Wiebke :)

And are those infections contagious? Should I expect Bellamy to get it? If it is that. As of today and since being home this evening Steve is squeaking quite regularly *face palms* seriously my boys worry me to death. Why am I such a bad pigmum all of a sudden?!

If he's had a stone recently, then it could be new one forming or it could be an infection. Only your vet can tell.
Infections come with a smaller risk of transmission from wiping the scent gland just in front of the genitalia on the floor and picking up the bacteria or germs that way.
However, you have to weight that one up against the risk of your boys not going back together after a separation. Personally, I find the risk having to treat two piggies for a non-life threatening health problem less worrying than risking a permanent fall-out.

Don't beat yourself up; stuff happens to us all!

PS: And sorry if I can't keep everybody's illnesses in mind all the time. I jump between so many threads each day that after tens of thousands of posts and literally hundreds of different members I simply can't memorise it all anymore; it kind of turns into a mush in my mind.
If you have special concerns or pre-existing issues that could play into your questions, please do me the favour and mention them in your post!
