So next week I will be attempting to bond Ringo with the girls (neutered 25th June) their cages are currently side by side and they talk through the bars etc. But every now and again I get a huge whiff of what I can only describe as boy musk! Will this scent chill out once he’s in with the girls? I’m not introducing until the 9th when I have a day off. The scent really is overpowering but I’ve only noticed it be worsen since the girls are in his line of sight.

Aw you have to love that musky boy smell! I honestly cant help you as our boy Theo was neutered 3 and a half weeks ago, but I'll be interested to see what everyone else says. I can tell you having adopted 2 more ladies last friday that Theo's stink output has doubled when the number of ladies living in the same room doubled! So 5 piggies in the room but we can only ever smell Theo, our whole house smells like a mix of unwashed billy goats and gents toilets :)
 
Also my neutered boar that passed never smelled like this that I can remember.
 
The two that I had neutered had plenty of stinkiness but now that they have been established with their girls for a few months I haven’t noticed the smell anymore. I know they still scent mark every time I clean the cage but I don’t notice much of a smell.

I don't have any advice to offer but I wish you luck with that stink!
