I went to our local garden cetnre to stock up on hay for the monsters. It's the most economic place locally to buy hay that they'll actually eat.

I was heading off to pay clutching the last three bags of hay that were on the shelves when one of the staff members stopped me. Did I know that there were bales of the same meadow hay that they use to make up the normal hay bags available for £3.50 each? What a bargin!

I quickly discovered that I could only fit two hay bales into my car boot.

Two trips to the garden centre later I feel that the shed is now well stocked for the next few months.

It'll also be additional insulation for a few months when the pigs move back into the shed for winter.

All I need to do now is hoover out the back of my poor car. :D
