I have two sows that are now a year old never had any health issues with them I've noticed the last week that it sound like one of there stomachs are rumbling never heard this before they're both fine in themselves eating and drinking fine just wondering what this could be ?

Can you only hear it when you listen close to her tummy, or can you hear it from further away? If the latter, if she is also moving her rear side to side while rumbling, then that is rumblestrutting which is perfectly normal behaviour.

I can hear it from further away but doesn't do the rumbling strutting behaviour

Christian rumbles quite a lot without doing his sexy bum wiggle. He does it to show what a big, handsome and virile chap he is. He also does it to show off. The other 4 don't take a blind it of notice of course but it doesn't stop him from trying!

Here is Christian to say hello to your girls!

@Lighteningamy Is she still doing it? Rumbling stomachs can be a sign of a mild digestive issue, possibly a slight build up of gas.

It can go away itself but if it's still happening then it would be worth a trip to the vet.

Have they eaten anything different? It'd be worth giving them plain boring food for a few days, don't give them anything new

@Lighteningamy You're welcome! As they've not had anything different then I would think that it was just a one off, so hopefully she should be all good soon.

They're adorable, gorgeous girls.
