Storing dry food

I have just bought a cereal storer for the guineas dry mix does anyone else use something like this. I don't want to empty a full bag in if it will spoil. I heard that what vitamin C in them degrades but is it in the light or air? It will be air tight but it is see through.

I too use an air tight see through cereal container.

That's good I just started filling it without thinking if it will be ok! It has to be better than just a clip on the bag.

Yeah that’s my reasoning too as I’m sure if you lost the vitamin C due to the container being opened, the vitamin C would be lost as soon as the bag was opened

I store mine in a big dog food bin in the garage as I get 10kg at a time then put it in a click lock container for everyday use. So it is airtight but see through.
