hello everyone, ive returned to activity once again :yahoo:
currently as you may know! there is a dreadful storm in ireland,
since i actually have been re-decorating my house, my shed is full, and everywhere i could possibly put the piggies is full with paint, no room or other dangerous/in the way items.
So i resorted to, lots and lots of hay, water, food, extra bedding, a warm dogbed inside their igloo!
and for the outside, i somehow tied 2 bedsheets where their grids are.
I hope this gets them through the storm.
praying :soz::soz::soz:

Mine have always lived outside, though they are kept in a shed. Mine have lots and lots of hay and they usually make a littletunnel out of it and make a kind of nest and snuggle up in it. When they did live outside with no shed for a few years I put a thick plastic sheet over the doors so they could see out but the wind couldnt blow in, and lots of blankets in the cage and around the gaps. I used a hot water bottle to give a bit of warmth, too. Used hot tap water (not boiling) and covered it with a thick blanket, only two of my 7 figured out what to do with it (cuddle)

Thanks for the info!

I haven't heard alot about anymore, we had Eleanor which was sure a hoot, the boys waterbottle keeps falling off and I'm getting sick and tired off going out in the blasting weather to fix it and argue with eachother to put it back up, so we've just resorted to giving them a lunch-bowl of water every day, they knock it over but i fill it up 3-4 times a day, it oughta keep them hydrated, just hope weather picks up soon.
