I thought this would be a good way to learn how everyone fell in love with there guinea pigs and were they got them from so heres what u do tell the story of how you got your guinea pigs and post a photo of them (optional )
The story of how i got my pigs was i managed to convince mam to let me get two guinea pigs so i went to the pet store to buy all the suplies i would need for them i had set to rescue two but when i went to the store i seen these two very frightened skinny 9 week old baby guinea pigs so i decided i would get these two little piggies to give them the best life possible and ino pet shop buying is not advised but i fell in love with both of them and right there and then bought them. It took alot of patients to win there trust and about 4 weeks but now i have them over 5 months and seeing how far they have come has been such a great reward.

Here’s my story: After my rabbit Bella passed away I decided that when I was ready I would get a pair of piggies, so we got Smokey and Smudge, unfortunately Smudge passed away, after being quarantined we decided Smokey was fine and ready for a new friend (we all felt bad about just getting another but we knew it was the right thing to do) the two get along very well and I have had an instant bond with all of them, but as I didn’t know any better they were in a tiny ferplast cage so I went to Pets at Home to get a run so they’ve got a big enough space for playing!
I’ll post a picture of Bella, Smudge, Smokey and Bacon

What a lovely story - sounds like a rescue to me.

I went to PAH to buy my nephew a Christmas mad present and came home with 2 piggies as well.
Pre forum days Their cage was way too small and I started learning fast.
Sadly Philemon died due to a brain tumour or infection so Tamar & Merab came to give Titus companionship.
I’d found the forum by then so Titus was neutered and lived happily with his ladies. Tamar had a stroke and died while I was phoning the emergency vet leaving me with Merab and Titus.
They lived happily together until his death when 2 baby sisters joined the family. Keziah and Jemimah bonded well with Merab and formed a happy herd.
Following Keziah’s unexpected death with a tumour Priscilla and Phoebe came - they needed to be rehomed and successfully bonded with Merab and Jemimah.
I lost Merab in October so my current herd is 3 beautiful girls.
Each of the piggies has / had their own unique characters and I adore them
