Hi, everyone!
As some of you know, Stubbins was sick for nearly all of 2020 with diarrhea, chronic pain, and weight loss. Then, in October, she became a happy, healthy piggy again!
Recently, however, I have noticed that whenever she uses the bathroom, she takes a while to do so. She will often hunch herself up and take about ten seconds to poop, which has me extremely worried. Although this has been going on for a couple of weeks now, I have been debating whether or not to schedule an appointment with her vet. I am mainly concerned about taking her because despite the time it takes her to go, she is having mostly all well-formed poops. I have had bad experiences in the past when taking her to the vet and starting her on meds worsened her illness.
What should I do?

I think straining should be checked out. Is there another experienced vet you could take her to? I know they’re a bit few and far between in the US.

I'm sorry to hear that your piggy is ill. Do you live in Indiana? We have a great vet here that I can recommend if you do live in Indy.
