Strange behaviour

Hey recently my guinea pigs have been going underneath there bedding and bath mats I first thought it was maybe them being annoyed at each other but they go under there together I’m worried about it in this heat as it’s probably quite hot under there I do always get them out and put there bedding back when I go to see them has anyone else had this problem

It’s not a problem I have as I don’t use fleece but I know lots of other owners have had their piggies do this.
Clipping the fleece to the edge of the correx or to the cage or weighing it down with hides is usually what needs to be done.

I woukd be very inclined to think that if it was too hot that they wouldn’t stay under there.

My boy takes all his naps under fleece and pees there, too. It's really annoying but just something I've learned to accept. He likes it so much.

My 2 sows seem to enjoy a bit of fleece tunneling. Nothing to worry about.
