hi, we have a girl guinea who is roughly 3 yrs 6 months ( not sure of age as adopted from pet shop) she is a lovely natured little thing, very friendly and sits next to the children when out of her cage. Ove the last couple of days she seems " tired " dont really run about a lot and makes a cholkinglike sound. The latest things since yesterday is she keeps putting her from paws into her food dish and stays inthat position for hours! i just got her out ( she kept running away) and had a good look at her, she isnt hurt or have any marks on her but she seems strange, any idea what could be wrong ?
thanks xx

Hi and welcome to the forum to you and little piggie :)
You need to see a savvy cavy vet.......... she needs to be checked right over and have her teeth checked too.
If you put where you are, somebody lovely will be able to recommend a vet for you :)
GOOD LUCK let us know how things go

I would strongly agree that your piggie needs to see a cavy savvy vet - This Essex vet has been recommended by a forum member.

The Ark Vets in Colchester Essex. Vet - Marcus Harrington.

Make a note of all her behaviour, especially the "she seems " tired " dont really run about a lot and makes a cholkinglike sound." as this could be very relevant. Also be sure to tell the vet about her fall as this could quite likely be linked.

If she isnt eating? you need to feed her mushed up hay based pellets. Hope shes better soon.
