Strange genital thing Sal does (1 pic)

I mentioned before over in the stories and pix section in discussing the bonding experience a "thing" Salvatore does that looks like he is turning his boar bits inside out. It gets all white and protrudes, and then when Redemption is away from the area the appearance gets back to normal. I caught a picture of it when I was photographing the two of them eating. Not a very good picture, but you can at least tell something is going on. Has anyone ever seen this before, and is it normal and healthy, or do I need to keep the two of them apart so that Sal doesn't hurt himself?

I'm sorry, I cant really help you here, but this is exactly what happens to my guinea pig! Whenever he rumblestruts, his "manly parts" look exactly like Sal's does in the picture. I dont know why it happens either, so I'm waiting earnestly for someone to kindly explain ;)

I believe it is to do with him leaving his scent. Ive seen my boys do it too.
 
Scent marking - and just for the record: girls do it, too!
 
My boys do this loads. The first time they did it I had them both on my knee and it stank ... Now I get them out seperately for cuddles and only see them do it when they are sharing floor time and I'm at the other end of the room - thankfully!
 
Yep defo scent marking, my boys do this a lot, this have moments when they need to 'establish' themselves :))
 
Yeah, when I let my boys out for floor time their 'markers' are always 'drawing' all over my floor. I personally think it's disgusting. Nasty boars anyways.
