Um, I got Genga last thursday off of louiserose. and there was a small patch of skin that I assumed was from a fight he had had with his cage mate as this was the reason for rehoming him.

well, it was a very small patch, and yesterday I looked at it and it had almost completely covered over.

I put him in with another guineapig yesterday called Bee, They played fine and I heard no fighting so I put them in a cleanly washed out cage.

I looked at his back today and it's bigger. I have a photo but I can't get it to upload...

xx

Lexy, if this is the same Genga as was in with Snuggles recently (as outlined in the link), I would jump right in and treat for fungal. Snuggles got into a bit of a state quite rapidly, I intend to post the pics I got at some point now that I have Louise's permission.

Given the severity of Snuggles' condition and that he shared a home with Genga, I would get Genga bathed in an anti-fungal shampoo as soon as possible. I would also bath Bee as a preventative measure.

Yeah, laura. It is the same Genga... That's just great! :) Can you recommend a treatment? I have no idea what one to get. He's been in with two babies too, I feel so stupid! should i treat them all as the two babie were put in with four other guineapigs now. xx
