Hi everyone, here I am picking your brains yet again.

I'm a little worried, I just went to get my boys out of their run and noticed in one corner a small pool of browny coloured liquid (I'm presuming it's urine)

I didn't see who produced the liquid as I was in the other room, I've checked both boys over and they both seem absolutely fine, checked their manly bits and they look normal, they have no cuts/scratches or anything.

Both boys have been their usual selfs over the past couple of days (apart from Guinness nipping me and my partner at the weekend), they are both eating well and drinking(not that either of them drink very much at all).

Should I be concerned about this, just monitor it over the next day or so?

I'm not sure how to work out who it's coming from as it's impractical for me to sit watching them all the time. (much as I'd love to) Also, on the fleece in the run, there was plenty of normal milky creamy wee and just this one small pool of the strange stuff.

Any information or advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks x

Have they weed over a soft poop? Sorry to be gross but that's happened to mine and has produced brown wee?

Haha, it's not gross, it's practical (well ok it is gross but nevermind)

Do you know my partner said that about the weeing on a fresh poop thing and I said "Don't be ridiculous, that wouldn't make the wee brown!"

But now you've said that, it doesn't seem so ridiculous, they could have done that yes- there is poo in that corner too. (well there isn't now as I've cleaned it up but there was)

Thanks

Thanks Weibke.

With the two of you both saying the same thing it really puts my mind at ease!

I'm such a worrier- I worry about everything, I was already mentally phoning the vets! LOL

Thank you again to both of you for the replies. x

Don't freak out when your poos get white spots - that can be from dried chalky urine and is no sign of illness. You are bound to come across them, or thick, milky urine (just excess chalk).

Only worry, if your urine is pinkish or there are red spots from blood. Piggy urine can sometines change colour, depending on the food they've eaten.

Thanks again, thats really useful.

I really do not know what I'd do without this forum, it's like heaven for a stress head like me! lol.

Off for a quick piggy cuddle now before bed, if they're still awake and up and about.

Night All and Thank you again! x

You're welcome, this forum is great for that and i've had some fab advice. I'm a worrier too!
