stress due to noisy neighbours?

I have the noisest neighbours at the weekend. During the week you rarely hear them but weekends its party all night long, awful techno banging music, screaming, shouting, banging, you name it they do it.

Because of the shape of my livingroom, my piggies are against the wall beside them (we live in a flat)

I'm worried they feel stressed or scared because of this. When the party is really bad next door, we move them as far away from the wall as possible and i bought a wee stereo to leave on overnight to try and cover the sound for them.

They dont seem to show any signs they are bothered by this, but it really bugs me and i think if it bugs me, then it must bug them.

Whats the chances they are bothered by this?

we also live in a flat and are literally surrounded by noisy cretins. Our pigs don't seem to care about it all, it's me that gets ****** off by it. The stereo is a good idea I think.

Have you tried contacting your local councils noise controll? In many places in england they will install equipment in your house to measure the noise, and if necessary take action. Just a thought.

We have just been through all that with our upstair neighbours who were a million times worse and done everything on purpose to get to use. I use to get abuse shouted at me and stuff. They are moving in a few weeks and i dont want to go through it all again with someone else and get more hassle.

We are moving in February (9 months and counting).
