I hear you Slave is "borrowing" one of your peppers. I hope this means she is giving in back in the same condition that she borrowed it in as that is the definition of borrowing. I very much doubt that as it's going to be for her supper. So she's really STEALING one of your peppers but is making herself feel less guilty as she says she's "borrowing" it! I would not put up with that!

As she's already the current holder of the Cup of Disgrace (and has been since February) she can't really pass it to herself. Her name has been put on the Wall of Shame and I have also added her name to the Naughty List forever too. She needs to hang her head in shame.

Hopefully this will teach her that nicking your food for her enjoyment will not be tolerated.

I'm sure Slave doesn't 'borrow' any of Nettle's food for her salad or any other part of her meals for that matter. So that's why Nettle plays goodie goodie two shoes.
 
I moved Chez's veg to spot clean.

He couldn't find the veg.

I moved it back.

He went to the other spot looking for it.

I said "hey dummy it's over here"

He finally found it!

But now he's begging for a cookie.

I decided to feel his milky pee. Phew, no grit.
 
Truffle misplaced his mini cucumber this morning choosing between his hide, which had just zoomed into the playpen, and the cucumber. He dropped it, ran into his hide and then missed his cc 😐 So he did a little turn (he is learning to spin) and there it was anyway. He begs too, but can't sit back very far, possibly due to arthritis 🥰

What do you think Chez? Should we report that? I don't like your Slave calling you Dummy! Otoh she's already on the worst of the worst lists for Slaves so I'm not sure what an additional report would do.

Yeah, sorry. I turned down the autism job in favor of a psychiatric technician job at a large psychiatric hospital.

The hours will give me days off during the week to schedule my own appointments and vet appointments. The autism job was Mon thru Friday so I worried I wouldn't be able to do anything personal.

Plus I like the idea of working with adults better.

Sounds like good conditions for you, and good if you prefer working with adults. I do too. Yay for you!

I get so excited for cage cleaning I try to wriggle out of the snuggle sack while she's putting me in the carrier. Last time she poked my eye and this time I gave a soft nip because she was blocking me.

She doesn't want me to fall. She's scared to drop me. But I'm just so excited I don't get it.

Hopefully, she thinks, I'll stop being a dodo brain

Though I would be scared of dropping such an excitable piggy too you know. Maybe you could verbalise your excitement until you're back in your nice clean cage and then go crazy with excitement because IN your cage you're safe from falling!
 
Guys mom went to the doctor for a tingling in her leg.

Her glucose was a bit low and she has vitamin d insufficiency!

In Michigan it's dark for six months and she stopped taking vitamins.

She has to wait till Monday for a game plan from the doctor.

Vitamins!

Yes, I'm impatient but have to wait till she calls Monday. I'm not going to buy anything till I get my marching orders.

My cholesterol was slightly elevated as well but if it's a little high they usually don't worry.
 
For cholesterol, diet and exercise can really make a big difference. Swapping margarine and butter for olive oil, for example and eating less fat. I'm trying to stay off sugar, even fruit juice, and I feel better for it.
