Guys she's procrastinating about cages. We're waaaiiiiting.

At work there's an aquarium and mom said when's the last time these fish have been fed? None of the staff knew or seemed to care so mom and a couple patients looked everywhere for the food and finally found it.

Guys when the fish finished eating they did zoomies! They must have been hungry I don't think they get fed on weekends. One of the social workers feeds them during the week a patient said.

I didn't know fish did zoomies.

Yay! This reminded me I had fennel in the fridge so I’ve made fennel frond pesto (for humans) and the piggies ate the stalky bits. Glad they are eating their greens!
 
Yeah... clean cages. Fennel rules. Green beans? I'll pass.

I only eat crunchy bears now. No premi yums, no nibble rings. Just crunchy bears. She's going to try a bag of cranberry treats.
 
She couldn't tell if I was popcorning or jumping away from the dust pan.

When the cage is clean I only want a couple minutes in the playpen.

Chez is actually getting braver and wanting to stay out longer.

She leaves in ten minutes for work.

I encouraged my fish to eat lots of food and two unfortunately died of bloat. The food was cheap dried flake food and if got stuck inside the poor fish. Now I use a more expensive food which is in finer flakes and give them a bit less than I think they can eat. They haven't lost weight and aren't bloated. They can manage about a day or possibly two without fish food, but if they don't get big feeds, they can eat every day and they prefer regular feeds. It's great that you spotted the hungry fish and are taking care of them ♥️🙏🐟🐡🐠
 
The hearts are bigger and take more time to eat and are healthier.

The bears get broken in half and are munched in a couple seconds and really aren't the healthiest.
