Stripe smacking/spitting out treats

We have a vet appointment for the issue. He ate all his veggies but when he eats treats he smacks and spits some out. He's active and just ate his forage.

He has CBS and I read they can get jaw problems and tongue paralysis.

Could something be caught in the molars? I looked at the front teeth and they are straight.

He hasn't lost weight, this just started today.

Ever since this morning he's been doing weird things with his mouth. I wonder if there's food wrapped around the molars but then I think of his CBS.

He's not doing it this morning. He was begging for veg and is eating his urinary biscuit.

Yeah he really scared me but I'm guessing he had something stuck in his teeth that has dislodged.

So far so good I'm about to go clean cages and I'll check on him. The vet said I could call back if anything changes or I can go to the ER.

He's fine. He actually gained 30 grams since his last weigh in.

He is chewing his cookies no problem and zoomed and wheeked for his cage to be cleaned.
