Stroking?

Hello everyone :) I just wanted to say how much I love our piggies! They make me smile and giggle everyday :D today I cuddled Gnocchi and he purred :)

I just was wondering though does everyone's piggies let them stroke them in their cage? Gnocchi let's me stroke him, he stays still and then I start to stroke him, then he flumps down and snuggles into the vetbed whilst I stroke him :) do you think he is letting me do it because he is a baby? Does everyone's piggies like to be stroked like this? I thinks it's so cute!x)
 
One of mine likes to have hs ears rubbed but the other hates being touched lol. But I've only had them a few weeks so were taking it one day at a time x
 
Well Peanut loves lap time but won't let us stroke him in the cage, but Gnocchi loves it! It's so lovely watching their personalities develop :)
 
After I let the piggies know I'm there, they'll let me stroke them forever and even start purring in their cage. The other though, as in vicky_notts case, dislikes being pet in the cage - but at lap time, he's perfectly fine with it.
 
Yes! Daisy (in my pic) loves being stroked in the cage, she comes up to me everyday for tickles rolleyes She rolls over on her side & often both feet are in the air whilst I tickle her side she is a very adorable piggy x)
 
My boys don't particularly like being stroked while they are in their house.

When they come to the front and stand and talk to me I generally give them little tidbits, so when I stroke them they are more preoccupied seeing what i have in my hand and nibbling my fingers.

If I want to stroke them I get them out for a cuddle and a chin wag :)
 
All of mine run and hide in the cage unless I have food coming thru the bars :) so far patch being the newest is actually the one who seeks to be petted and cuddled he loves it, and will take a short pig nap if I do nose strokes and ear massage.
 
Every pig of mine is different, the difference in personality is amazing. My one pig candy, whenever I stroke her she purrs and stretches out. My other pig Floss (long haired) jumps everytime and shakes her fur if you stroke her cause she is a wild one! Tilly my other long haired is fine unless you touch her bum then she runs away. Bubblegum my other pig is fine with all kinds of stroking but does not purr.
 
my piggies dont like being stroked in the cage at all, peppa likes lap time and being stroked but my other button realy doesnt seem to like me at all :( they are kinda new to me but still i thought she might have got used to me by now
 
I'm a bit jealous of people with cuddly piggies, ours don't like being stroked in the cage at all either. But that doesn't stop us trying... :))

They're both fine when they're out though. :)
