Senior Guinea Pig
My guinea pig Arthur struggles to drink from his water bottle. He tries biting the sides, biting the front, going under it and all different ways.
I've given him two water bottles thinking it might be just the fact the bottle wasn't very good but he can't drink from the other, either. He waits for me to come into the room so I can squeeze it and he can drink. The problem is I can't stand there holding the bottle all the time when he wants a drink.
His cage mate Romano has no problem drinking from the bottle, Arthur just doesn't seem to understand how to do it.
Is there anything you guys can suggest I do? I feel bad as he often tries but no air bubble appears showing he's gotten any unless I do hold it for him.
