I'm very much struggling with not going against my OH and getting the little grey and white (he's got dutch markings with grey x) drool) at the petco up the road mallethead He has been there for two straight months and he just looks so unhappy and depressed in there... and I love the grey piggies and OMG I am just pow-pow beating myself up because I can't have him and UGH! He is so adorable, I am going to search for a picture on here to see if I can find one that looks like him and show you guys why I'm so in love.

I can definitely see why you're struggling. Silver agouti and white are so cute.

No chance whatsoever of persuading the OH? You've clearly fallen for the poor little guy. If I were in your shoes, I'd get him and hope my OH wouldn't notice!

Oh my goodness, I would love to get him I really would, and I have been talking to the OH about it endlessly, I'm hoping that by being annoying about it he'll let me have him just to shut me up :)) he only doesn't want to have to get another/bigger cage, but the cage I have is jut fine for two, I think we're more worried if Sweets and him didn't hit it off we'd be stuck with two cages and it would just be sad lol maybe once my brother-in-law gives us back my second cage I'll go and swoop him up and bring him home because he really is lovely!

If only you were closer.. I'd pretend that I was buying him for you... and then keep him for my own selfishness hehe Man he is adorable! However, as cute as he is, I love the long haired piggies, I love brushing the hair and I donno, makes me feel girly, I hope that when I have kids there is at least one girl somewhere to do nails and hair and dress up and x) it will be fun lol

My OH won't let me get 2 more piggies and I soooooOOOOOoooo want some :0
But i haven't yet seen one I want (he wont let me go near any).
I think if i did i'd just get them :)) and they'd win him over!
 
x) He's gorgeous! I hope you get him. And not trying to be creepy or anything, but which petco is he at? Maybe I could go see him! (Don't worry about me stealing him from you, haha. :p)

I think you are waaaaaaaayyyyy to far away for your other half to fall for that one! I hope you can persuade him, he is a beauty tho' so be quick!
 
LOL I'd love to meet you! And maybe we can piggy shop together! It's the petco on federal right off the broadway exit here in Boise. They have a few others that have been there just as long as him but they are abby's I believe. and almost the same colors as Sweets!

The best one to buy supplies at is the one over by the Boise Mall. It has so much hay and bedding to offer for the little ones. The employee's are very helpfull in there as well.


IN OTHER NEWS!!

The husband and I will be going to IF to visit the rest of the family next thursday... we will get back home the following monday. We have come to a deal that since the new cage I bought will be plenty big for two if the little grey dutch I want is still there I am going to get him because that will be almost three months at the store. OHHHH I hope that he is still there. Maybe I'll call and tell them to hold him for me :)) I have been so excited ever since the OH and I made this deal... it's going to be an exciting two weeks waiting to see if he's still there when I return!
 
Good for you for convincing him to let you get him! Fingers crossed he's still there. And I definitely feel your pain. I feel like I want almost every guinea pig I see now. But my boyfriend did make a deal with me that if I go back to school and get my degree I can have as many piggies as I want. He's gonna regret that.
