Stuff in fur

I've had pigs for a few years now.

One of my boys seems to have 'dandruff" but there is a lot of flaking and what can only be described as "grit". I pull what almost look like flat, small, pale yellowseeds out of his fur and I can't find anything about what this might be.

He's got a bald patch on his back.

Any suggestions? His cage mate is fine.

I suggest a vet visit as it could be mites or fungal but only a vet can diagnose and prescribe the correct treatment
