Success finally Bobby has a friend!

Well not been on much for awhile so will refresh everyone.

This is Bobby -

Now Bobby was neutered and was introduced to my single lady Winnie-Willow

We assumed all was going well - what we didn't know was that as soon as our backs were turned Winnie was attacking Bobby (unfortunately Bobby's long hair prevented us spotting this sooner and they were left together for 3 days!)

So Bobby ended up back on his lonesome and Winnie was put in to the bad books!

My husbands friend at work mentioned she had a lone 7mth old guinea pig that had lost his friend over xmas and she didn't want him to be alone, so we thought we would try them together.

They have been together for 9 hours now and they are smitten with each other, there hasn't been a bad rumble between them!

Aren't they so cute together!

Now i just need to work out what to do with Winnie!
 
Oh gosh!
I am glad that Bobby finally has a new friend.
Maybe Winnie may get on with a lady pig instead of a huspig.

I hope it all works out regardless.
 
Ohh gorgeous Bobby! x) I'm so happy he and Snowball are getting along. So will he be going to live at Snowballs house or will Snowball be living at yours? :)
 
Snowball is now living here :)

As for Winnie we did try her with a girlie and unfortunately she didn't like that arrangement either! I've not given up yet though! lol

I was a little nervous about going to bed and leaving them last night but got up this morning to two very happy piggies! Have checked bobby over to make sure i haven't missed any attacks this time and i'm pleased to say there isn't a mark on him! they are currently digging into breakfast :)
 
What an absolutely lovely ending to the story ;) hopefully they will stay pals, I understand your nerves I added a 9 month old boar to my bereaved 2 year old boar last August & was a nervous wreck! But they are still continuing to live happily together.

Sounds like they're genuinely happy to have made a friend x
