WOW I'm so happy :))

Last night I posted in the introductions and was worried about my piggies taking to me as they both seemed nervous, except for the odd time where one of them would take food from me. Today they both took food off me.....cucumber the best piggy bribe ever lol! and then I managed a quick cuddle with both. So so happy that they both let me pick them up with minimal stress.

I only kept them out a min or 2 as I dont wanna push my luck and stress them out too much.

Your boys are coming round very nicely and are settling in well. It takes longer than most newbies realise, but with a bit of patience and some treats you can win their trust! Guinea pigs are prey animals, and those instncts come to the fore in new surroundings. Thankfully, yours seem to have had human contact before, so they are not quite as skittish and shy as some.

Yeah the lady who rescued them (she has a mini rescue centre at her house) took fab care of them, she made sure they were handled by different people and on a regular basis so they were used to people :D

I keep nipping out to the shed to show my face and the last couple of times they have come to the fence :D probably because they think I have food but Ill take it lol

Great news, it's lovely when they first take food off you!
