I've had my girl since she was 2 months old and she's now 2 years old. Never been a biter towards me, but is very domineering towards one of her sisters. The first time she bit I assumed she needed a wee and was telling me for the first time. Then she continued biting my clothes every time I picked her up and I started to get worried about her. Then she had an entire day of chasing and mounting her sister. I know I should take her to the vets but I'm worried it's ovarian cysts in which case its surgery. It's been under a week of biting me but it was one day of domination towards her sister.

I follow your thinking. I think great improvements have been made in the treatment of ovarian cysts. The sooner you take your piggy to the vet the easier it will be to treat her. I hope things turn out OK.

I looked up the symptoms and she has like 2/3 out of the list. But I have asked for a small loan to take her, so I can if I have to. It's strange cos she's always been mean to my bigger piggy. Her and my smaller one get on lovely. Same as the other bigger one and my smaller one.

Ovarian cysts are often indicated by dry skin on the guinea pigs nipples. Does she have this dry skin? There can also be hair loss.

It can be something as simple as her telling you she doesn’t want to be held or touched. One day of being dominant on its own wouldn’t necessarily be concerning. However not all cysts produce signs and your piggy is within the age range for them to start showing up so If you are concerned or are seeing other signs of potential cysts then she does need to be seen by a vet.

I hope she is ok

She doesn't have any of those symptoms.
