Sudden Breaths?

We've only had our piggies for 2 weeks...

One of them looks fine, he is eating and drinking etc...but every 15 seconds or so is taking a sudent breath in, that we can just about hear.

Just wondering if anyone knows what this is, and if we should visit the vet or not?

Breathing problems in piggies can be serious, but if caught early can be treated. It is neccesary to visit a vet from the discription you have given.

How's your piggie now? Have you been able to contact an emergency vets? If you can tell us what area you're in whee maybe able to advise on a vet that is cavy savvy for you
