I don't think the physio suggested on here was to pay for I think it was another member who had been using it on her guineas but she was a trained physiotherapist and thought let's give it a go on guinea pigs
I’m going to try them tonightHave you tried any of the frequencies yet?
Yes, I thought I might give his little bottom and legs a warm bath tonight.. when he stops eating for a few minutesIt could be worth trying some water therapy. Put a few inches of warm water in a bowl and whilst fully supporting him, pop his back legs into the water. He may find it easier to move his legs in the water! If he tolerates this, maybe try it daily! I’ve currently got sciatica's, but I swim daily. Whilst I’m in the water I’m totally pain free.

Thank you..You really have been through a very difficult and traumatic timeand do need to seek some help otherwise you will get ill, and you owe it to yourself and your family to not let that happen.

I'm sending you through some comforting/healing frequency music to listen to, while you sort something out.You may cry while you listen to them, you probably will, but that's ok, it's all part of the healing process. Things will get better, I promise!
Read the comments first before listening if you like, they do really help people!...
This first one doesn't have music, is just a tone, so listen to this when you don't want to cry!

I think it’s amazing that you know all about frequencies. Thank you for sharing this with meI know I always seem to just suggest frequencies for everything lol, but the thing is, they usually work and they're free (Well almost!)!
So what is there to lose?! I like to help people and they have been invaluable to me as I have so little money (for expensive treatments) and also have a lot of stress and sadness in my life.![]()
That’s really kind of you, thank you. I’m not in a good place to be honest. I’m so down. Peanut isn’t well. He's so quiet and I just sense he isn’t feeling happy. I can’t afford another vets trip right now and I have asked the boarder to share (at the very least) the £527 vet & cremation bill. I think it’s time to say goodbye to Peanut but I don’t want to let him go. I feel like my heart can’t be put back together again.Hi just thought I'd check how you all are![]()
I'm so very sorry to hear about Peanut, sometimes it is just their name sadly. Keep playing those frequencies (especially the 432Jz) for and at the very least, they will help both of you keep calm and be more at peace. That’s really kind of you, thank you. My car broke down last Friday and an oil leak that I wasn’t aware of has led to serious engine damage. So now I don’t even have to car to get around. Hiring one is far too costly.
Tomorrow I’m going to get a doctors appointment and get signed off sick for 2 weeks. The way I feel I might never go back to work at the prison. My fibromyalgia has really flared up and quite honestly I need to step back from the pressure of my job.
I’m so sorry, I’m at a low point today. Very low![]()
I’m so sorry you have got so much stress and sadness at the moment. Sending you massive hugs. You have to look after yourself. My sister has ME, Fibro, full time work, moving house, teenagers, lazy husband and a few other issues to. I said to her last week “how long are you just going to keep trying to push through? Go to the doctors and get some time off work so you can deal with everything else”.That’s really kind of you, thank you. I’m not in a good place to be honest. I’m so down. Peanut isn’t well. Thank you for your supportWhat a horrible time you’re having. It’s good you’re going to see the doctor as you really need some time off work. It’s important you look after yourself. So sorry to hear Peanut isn’t improving. Did you try the Gabapentin? xx

She then ended up in hospital overnight on Thursday! And she’s still going to work today!
I hope your doctor is sympathetic and can help you![]()
I’m so sorry to hear about your sister. I hope she’s recovering after her hospital visit. It’s awful that her husband is lazy too
. I’m on my own with my teenagers which has its own challenges but having an unsupportive partner is AWFUL
. That adds another layer to her stress. She definitely needs to take time off. Sod the job. That’s how I’m feeling. Fibro is a disability! If her work isn’t accommodating this then she has every right to take time off on medical grounds.
I sent this message to my 2 managers this morning:
“Morning to you both
I’m unwell with a flare-up of fibromyalgia and tendonitis and won’t be in today. I’m seeing my GP this morning and will be in touch with you later. My absence is on medical grounds and my symptoms have significantly worsened.
Thank you & best wishes,
Julia”
My bosses basically ignored my pain symptoms and struggles for 6 months leading up to my diagnosis, despite an occupational health report, and so there’s sod all they can do.. xx
Ps A house move in the mix is so stressful too. I did that in July all on my own and it was horrendous. Sending courage to your Sis![]()
Thank you. Yes, I’m just waiting for the doctor to call. It’s time I took care of myself and whilst I’m off I can attend to things on the home front as well. I never have the time or energy I'm so glad you're putting yourself first. Youre doing the right thing!![]()
Aww they are such sweet girlsHi, I’ve stumbled across your post today after not being on the forum for a while.
All I can say is that I’m very sorry for your heart breaking lossesBe kind to yourself as you seem to be an amazing piggie owner.
I know there are excellent boarders out there; but in cases like this, is why I find it hard to trust boarders with my pigs and always leave them with trusted family members
I wish nothing but the best for you, your family and your furry family
These are my girls Pip (grey one) and Ginger![]()
Thank youSending you
BIG HUGS
Wishing you all the best. I am so sorry that your financial pressures are mounting with the damage to your car adding to your work woes and grieving.
No wonder are your stress levels and fibromyalgia going through the roof.
You and Peanut continue to be in my thoughts.
Thank youYou’ve been very kind and thoughtful. I’ll eventually get through it and the support here has been incredible. I think that having some time off will really help me to heal

I think it will, too. And it may also help getting your flare under control again faster.
We are here for both you yourself and Peanut as a community for as long as you need but if you feel you would rather need professional support, please ask your gp for a referral. Waiting lists are long but it can help you nevertheless work through your overload of stress from all sides (work, finances, piggy losses, health problems) which are causing you such a traumatic time and it can give you strength for a fresh start - it's not just losing your precious boys; they have just happened at the worst time possible and have been what has lit a waiting fuse of a whole lot crammed into a bomb of lurking stress factors.
Professional support helped me when I had too many different major stress factors in my life and my private support network were all fighting with their own major crises. These things happen.
As I have said before, you are a very strong woman - but you are not Wonder Woman who can juggle everything on their left digit; you are a real person with real limits; and right now you are at breaking point.
So taking a breather with a sick note is the best thing you can do as an immediate measure.
Take care of yourself because you are worth it.![]()
