I have had my 2 guinea pigs for a few months now and at first they used to screech but after a few weeks they calmed down then all of a sudden my guinea pig cinnamon started screeching any time i roll over or talk to her mostly just in the morning when I'm waking up though, is it because she is in pain, doesn't like the dark or the ionizer that i put on low.

It’s very hard to understand what the sound could be by the written word.
They ‘wheek’ when they are happy, when they know food is coming, but there are a lot of different sounds piggies make.
Perhaps you could try listening to guinea pig sounds on something like YouTube to see if you can find a similar noise on there, or upload a video of the sound to this site (you can’t upload video directly though, it has to be done via YouTube) and perhaps we can help identify it.

Ok thx ill try it just worries me as it is very loud and high pitched.

Loud and high pitched isn’t necessary a problem....my pigs get very loud when they see I’m on my way to them with their veggies. Their voices are high pitched in that instance.

Have a look at YouTube for videos of wheeking pigs. If it is wheeking it's cos she knows you are now awake and must feed her :)) when my old piggies used to be indoors they wheeked at the sound of my footsteps coming up the stairs

Hi! Sows come into season roughly every two weeks.

Please take the time to read these guides here to understand their behaviour.

When Sows Experience A Strong Season (videos)
This link here contains some sounds samples. Please be aware that many vocalisations sound very similar to our ears and they are often context and body language dependent. That is why audio guides can help you only so much and why we don't have one. Body language is as important a part of the language as the vocals.

Loud screeching is generally protest or submission, but it is not pain.

The two things that occur to me are either wheeking (which guinea pigs will do when they are excited, i.e. if they think that food is forthcoming) or showing submission to another guinea pig being dominant... they will let out a squeal that basically means, "I acknowledge that you're the boss!" Hopefully you can find some example videos to pinpoint better what kind of noise it is.
