It has been pretty warm all Winter for me down in the southern USA, but tonight it is supposed to be colder than normal. I'm afraid that Bacon and Eggs will get too cold! My room can get pretty cool at night, and I can't bump up the temperature. What should I do? Bacon and Eggs are on bedding right now. They don't seem to be bothered on the coolness of the daytime, probably because the house is warmer. I usually have an overhead fan on, so it might help if I turn it off.

Suggestions on how to keep my piggies warm, please?

If in doubt I always give mine extra hay to cozy into and keep warm. I also have a blanket over their hay tray (not so covered they don't get a good flow of air into them) Have you any fleecy cosies you could put in for them?

I keep an oil filled thermostatic mini radiator on 24/7 and turn off the large radiator.

It costs 4p an hour to run. Doesn't give me any change to our electric bill.

Keeps the room between 68F & 70F. Perfect for my boys.

Also use Snuggle safe heat pads.

@GloriousGuineaGirl, I don't have a radiator. Or a mini radiator. Thanks for the suggestions, though.

@Nicola_ I don't have any fleece cozies, but I do have a tunnel that is fuzzy inside. Only problem is they would fight over it. I'll put a bit of extra hay and bedding in their hideys, and try to keep my room as warm as possible. I'll be getting fleece next week, if I have extra I'll make a snuggle sack or two. :) Thanks.

I'm sure extra warm hideys will be just fine, I guess if you get really concerned you could improvise with an old fleece hat or something if you have anything like that kicking about :) I'm sure it won't come to that though.

Thanks again. My parents turned up the temperature, so it is much warmer now. Just in case, however, I put some hay and some extra bedding in their hideys.
