5th August 2006 is the day that our darling little man went to the bridge :'( :'( :'(
I've sobbed sooo much over the past year, but yesterday was very hard :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
I've re planted his little garden, i've added more flowers and a beautiful red geranium that will flower nearly all year just for you Sully :smitten:

Sorry i failed you little man, i tried but it just was not enough :'( :'( :'( :'(
I hope your having fun and have made lots of friends there :smitten:
Be ready for your brother, he's missed you soooo much.... he's so quiet he needs you to help him wheek again. When it's his time be there to help him, he'll be sooo glad to see you again :smitten:

Glynis I'm so sorry :'( I bet the garden for him looks great, maybe you could take a photo for us (if you ever become less of a dino ;)). You didn't fail him and he knows that, you tried for him but it was just his time. I bet he's made loooooads of friends at the bridge :smitten: Pepper and Beauty are sending biig manly wheeks and hugs to you and Duke.

You did all you could I'm sure but the most important thing was that you gave that little chap so much love. its more, sadly, than some animals get.

Sully is watching over you and gorgeous duke every single day and one day (but hopefully not for ages) you will all be reunited :smitten:

I actually forgot Billies anniversary (1 year) as i was on honeymoon and the time difference / jetlag etc but i know that he guided me to Tokyo to see Rainbow Bridge so that I would know that he is still around for me :smitten:
 
I don"t know what to say to you,my thoughts are with you.Hopefully Sully is playing at thr bridge with Rainbow and Tiger.
 
Oh Glynis, I am thinking of you and Dukey. That first anniversary is the hardest one.

I felt i failed because he went thru absolute hell before he went to the bridge. He was frail and barely eating, being syringe fed and then to get an abscess it was the last straw for the little man.
Unfortunately he took quite awhile to pass over to the bridge, it was agonizing watching him struggle this is where i failed him, i just didn't know how to make it any easier for him :'( :'( :'( :'( All the cuddles and kisses i was giving him didn't help, even Duke was kissing and licking him...i even tried to give him some metacam for pain, but it just drizzled out of his mouth... but at least i was there for him :(

I wonder if it really ever will get easier :'( :'(

I will try to take a photo Jane yes i'm a totaly dino as you know.. ;) ;D ;D ;D

Dont beat yourself up, in hindsight we can all wonder if we did enough, I now know the treatment the emergency vets gave was wrong (he knew very little about guinea
pigs) but I had no computer and no other options (a Sunday night). I still feel that I failed him. :(
 
Thinking of you Glynis, you did all you could, but it never makes it better. I'm sure Sully is popcorning like mad at the bridge with all the other piggies who have joined him :)
 
awww... thinking of you Glynis & Duke. First anniversaries are so hard....

Like the others have said... bet he's having the time of his life at the bridge... and I bet he's a little chubby chops after eating all that lovely grass there!

You really did everything you could... and in time your sense of loss will get easier. He'll always be with you though
