sun cream?

I do but I tend to put an old duvet cover over the run so that they are not in the sun

Bare skin can be a concern with piggies with access to direct sunlight. Pale ears can be protected with sun cream/sun block, and hairless breeds (Skinny, and Baldwin) should be fully covered and protected. It is far easier (and safer) to do as Ryli siggested, and not allow them access to direct sunlight at all. Or at least for very long.

Make sure the whole of the top of the run is covered, most pigs will follow the sun if they have the chance!
