After a very thorough dental examination, Sundae is heading into surgery to fix the top left side of her back teeth. There was lots of points and ulcerations. et believes this could be the cause of her eye ulcer and head tilt, as ulcer is still not completely healed.
She is now weighing in at 320 oz and there is a high risk but the vet is confident that she will be ok.
Please send some prayers and healing thoughts our way. Fingers crossed she will be fine and come home tonight.

Fingers very firmly crossed for her! Please do not expect her to be necessarily able to eat straight away; that takes a very experienced dental vet so make sure that you have got syringe feed etc. handy.

Hope it goes well, lots of healing vibes for Sundae !

PS I presume you meant 32oz, which would be a bit under a kilogram in metric?

Sending best wishes to your Sundae!

Healing vibes being sent your way! Here's hoping for a full & speedy recovery.
Fingers and paws 🐾 all crossed for sundae.
Luv the girls & I xx

Sundae pulled through her surgery like a champ and came home last night.
She ate some pellets and a tiny bit of hay, a peice of cucumber and red pepper.
This morning she is wheeking for her food and managed to eat a bit more hay over night, she is pooping and peeing ☺️and yes we are syringe feeding this wiggly, protesting little girl! 😂
Her head tilt is pretty severe and with the muscle relaxants she looks like a drunk pig stumbling around her cage, so I did call the vet to ask if I should be worried about her. I am keeping her warm in a blanket and the boys are cuddling her every chance they get.
Her meds are keeping her quiet and the vet hopes her head tilt will correct itself over the course of the week when all the eye and mouth trauma has healed.
Still need healing vibes for little Sundae, she is fiesty but oh so small.

Wishing her all the best in her recovery!

Sending healing vibes she sounds like she has done well! Which is brilliant x

Sending healing thoughts to Sundae. Get well little piggy.

Sending healing wishes to your feisty little girl. Sounds promising so far. Fingers crossed for continual improvement xx

Delighted to hear that Sundae came through the surgery.
Now we continue to hold you all in thought and prayer for a full recovery

Sweet Sundae passed quietly in our arms last night.
She was doing so well, gobbling up her cc and veggies and enjoying her hay. She was eating, drinking, pooping, peeing and even her coat changed, it was silky and shiny again instead of puffed and ruffled.
Not sure if it was a stroke or a seizure but comforted her and loved her through her last breath.
I am so sorry I failed you little girl

Oh no! I'm so sorry for your loss it's in no way your fault, you couldn't have prevented it in any way, please don't blame yourself.

Sleep tight Sundae. :bye::bye::bye::luv::luv::luv:

Oh no that's so sad, seems we've lost a fair few forum piggies recently... but you obviously did everything you could to help her and she will have known you were caring for her right until the end. Sundae will be popcorning away over the rainbow bridge with all her new friends now who are no longer with us... hugs and sad wheeks! X
