I have this here. My guineas do eat it but I have been saving it for when I couldn't pick grass any more (now).

It's a great alternative to fresh grass.

I have no qualms in recommending the above product, having previously offered the above product to my cavies, Joey&Gizmo. However, similarly, I have no apprehension in recommending a product known as "Readigrass" - which was originally, and continues, to be manufactured as a product for horses. However, "Readigrass" is widely used in the cavy community. Nevertheless, both products have been feed to other domesticated species without concern. I find the most appealing aspect of the above products is the minimal amount of dust they contain.

In addition to the above products, there are several varieties of dried grass currently available in the animal retail industry. Certainly, there will be a number of these varieties that will, likewise, have the same appeal.

I feed this and readigrass to my piggies. They all love it. I mix it in with their regular hay and they demolish the hay to get at it.

Thanks I will definalty buy them some once there hay has gone. Do you know where I can get the readigrass from? Do they sell it online or in horse supplies?
Thanks.

Previously, I have purchased "Readigrass" from a supplier of horses' products, Joey&Gizmo. However, the company, likewise, stocked products manufactured for other domesticated species of animal (Hence, the reason I visited this suppliers). Therefore, I believe you will have to visit a store that either exclusively handles products for horses or a store that stocks products for horses. In addition, I am inclined to believe some of the larger branches of Pets At Home stock horse products.
