I'm a bit worried about George ......
I feed him Supa Guinea [not excel]. I clean out his cage every Saturday and refill his supa guinea. Then next Saturday I find that he is only eating about one third of his food. Is this a problem ? It's been like this for about 5 months !

Chances are he's selective feeding - picking out the bits he likes and ignoring the rest. However pellets should be third in line of importance after unlimited hay and vegetables so if he's getting plenty of those the food will be of less interest to him.

YUP !! :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
He gets loads of food [and I mean once a day - he gets stuffed ! ;D] and he always has hay !
So he should be OK ?

He should be OK but personally I would switch to Excel so that he gets the benefit of a complete pellet instead of just the bits he likes.

super guinea excel is usually available at the vets i buy mine from pet planet website or parcel pets website as i buy the 10kg bags you can also buy it in 2kg and 4 kg bags as well
