Super Red Ears!

IMG_0721.webp peaches always has pink ears, but tonight they are super red/almost purple. They feel quite hot and she is quite feisty she's gone to nibble me about six times when I tried to pick her up and check her out.
I know they loose heat via their ears but it's not that hot in here -
promise!
 
My Chewie's ears go pink if she's too hot or been charging around alot
 
hopefully they'll calm down a bit, perhaps she was doing laps when i was out of the house! She seems up for mischief tonight....
 
I had a PEW aby called Peaches too :) Her ears would change colour as well. Have you got a front view pic of your lovely girl? :love:
 
Don't fret at ALL. Long-lasting hot ears, even when window is open and room is cool means a problem. Duncan's ears go like that too- very hot to touch! Then they cool down to pale pink. It would be adorable if they were like mood rings!

Awww she's gorgeous ! :luv: Ziggy, my piggy in my avatar is an aby/peru cross & she has one black ear & one pink ear, it does sometimes look pale pink & other times it looks bright pink so it's normal as far as I know :D
 
She may just have been running around a lot... Sundae's ears get very flushed when she's actives, sometimes even if she's chewing vigorously!
 
My Ophelia's ears go bright pink when she is hot too. I wouldn't worry unless you spot any crustiness or a white bloom.
