I found loki lying on the cage floor not moving, so I panicked and rushed downstairs and put him in a box with loads of blankets and warmth, three hours later he is still breathing, convulsing and blinking. I know he is going to die but does anyone know what is going on? Thank you x

If he has not already gone, please get him to the emergency vet now.

Ok thank you! I'm not sure though I'm so confused and scared

He is gasping, but like every 30 _seconds he takes a breath

The vet could put him to sleep, piggies can hang on and suffer so it is kinder to help them on their way.

I'm so sorry, it sounds like the poor fellow needs a helping hand to go in peace. Big hugs xx

Aww, I know how you feel. One of my guinea pigs when I went down to check on her in the morning couldn't move her back legs. I had to get her put down. It was really hard to let go but I guess it was the kindest thing :'(

Thank you ever so much :( it's so hard to come to terms with. But he is in Piggie heaven now and he will have no more suffering! X

So sorry for your loss. Massive hugs x

Sleep well little one x

RIP Loki
