Hello!

I've ordered songmics from amazon to finally upgrade my piggies cages, we're doing a stacked cage, so two piggies at floor level and two at two grids height. Technically the grids are supposed to be sturdy enough for this I've been told, but I don't want to risk it not being sturdy enough so I've been looking at what people use for support bars. Broom handles are probably too big I'd presume but someone had recommended expanding curtain poles, does anyone have experience using these and do have any recommendations on which to use? I've mostly looked at the RÄCKA ikea curtain rods, does anyone see any problems with these?

Thanks for any input!

I used these support bars when my past piggies have a 2nd floor/loft. From that website, they sell it for £9 a piece and £17 for 2. Although it's quite difficult to get it cheaper now. I remember what other's here did was put some wooden bars/planks in between floors of the cage as extra support. If you can find something like that then it would be good.
