Do you know the ingredients?

I personally wouldn't feed it...'Flaked Big Pea Mix' doesn't sound too good to me..I also wouldn't feed a mix because they will probably just pick out their favourite bits and leave the rest :-\

Mine dont like it. Too many peas in there, they eat those but leave everything else.

Oh right thanks ill see how mine reacct to it and see if they eat it all ;D

Used to feed it to my lot and they eat everything except the long pellet bits ;D. Had tried to get them onto Excel pellets in the past but they all turned their noses up. Once we started having bladder problems I was determined to avoid all flake food, particularly any with colourant in it, so have managed to swap them over to P@H pellets, which they will eat.

Be interesting to see how you get on.

Hi thanks and I'm now worried whether to feed it to them or not as ive tried soo many different products/brands 98)

Theyve had :

wagg
gerty
gloria
pet shop mix
pet shop plain
p@h muesli
now I'm trying johnsons after theyve finished wagg crunch ::)

Have you tried some pellets? If your pigs will eat them they're a lot healthier than mixes ;)

I would stick with one food if I was you..changing the food so often can't be too good? :-\

You cant be giving them enough time wean over to it from the original foods, and get used to it...I would just use the one that is the best for them, a pellet would be better, then wean them properly, and stick with it for a while O0

Hi ive stuck at them for ages and they are just too fussy 2 months is long enough :-\

They must be eating some of it surely, otherwise they wouldnt be doing well.

I would like to change to a pellet food but not sure how they would get on.

Do you folks think that I should just put it down and let them get on with it. They do have lots of other stuff to eat as well, so they wouldnt go hungry.

What do you mean ? They had wagg but i know its got lots of colourings in it but i dont want totake them off colourings but thought id try this new one which i havent even opened yet as they havent finished the wagg which they leave some of :-\

I thought their diet was something like 80% hay, 15% veggies and 5% mix/pellets...pretty sure I've read before it wont hard them if they don't eat their dry food as long as they are eating their hay and lots of veggies..will have a look in a sec though.

Mine are currently on Spillars guinea pig muesli but I do have some that are fussy and dont eat all of it. I would like to put them on either P@H complete pellet or the burgess super guinea.
