I know they're expensive (around £5 - £6 for 2kg bag) but I have to say that these are by far the best pellets we've tried. We've used Burgess before (several kinds) but find that SS are tastier and healthier and, if you look at the nutritional values, more completed and specialised for GP than anything else.

I think also, they recommend smaller amounts than other pellets so you probably spend a little less than you think. This sounds like a plug but in all honesty I give them a big thumbs up.

Hope you find this useful :)

where do you get your science selective guinea pig pellets from? I've been looking for them (not very hard though) in Manchester but haven't found it.

You can get Ashleigh vetinary clinic to order them in for you in various sizes. I had to go to the Supreme foods website and they have a list of stockists.

Ashleigh is in Whalley Range - that's our vets too so it was quite handy.

ah ok. thanks. they are my vet as well. I phoned them today and they didn't know about it. I've got Jolleyes to order some in for me so hopefully will get them this weekend.

I've tried SS in the past but the guineas weren't overly impressed. Might try them on it again though and see how it goes down!

I know, piggies have such varying tastes. One of mine loves any pellets so much that you can use them to get him to do practically anything. The other can quite happily eat 20 one day and none the next :{
