had to use uni internet to do this, as my home internet died last night ::) so i couldnt post this morning

took a lot of hard work, and an almost sleepness night through worrying at the rumbling noises but found them together at the ood bowl this morning so it all paid off!

Merlin is the boss pig ::) as heath is quite timid. apart from the odd rumble now and again they seem to get on pretty well, but they are being closely monitored.

cage issue is sorted i think, but for now they are hopping between the run and the current nero and free ranging until i get the bigger cage
 
That's brilliant news Lez! I love the name Heath as well! So pleased you are keeping him. :smitten: Merlins seems to have grown too! :smitten:

It looks like Merlin is also trying to be the 'big' brother as well :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: to show Heath the ropes O0 :-* :-* :-*
 
heath went to the vets this morning too, and merlin went with him to keep him company.

vets went well, he had a full check up, and luckily his teeth arent as bad as i thought :)

bf isnt happy ive got another pig though :-\ but me and my housemate are happy. she fell in love with heath too
 
Aww well 2 pigs are better than 1 in a cage. :) Make bf a pancake, he'll soon come around! ;D
 
Oh I am so pleased for you, this is just the best news :) I had everything crossed for you and was thinking about your situation alot yesterday.

merlin and heath still have the odd rumbling sessions but they have only been together since last night so I'm still keeping a close eye on things. I'm hoping it will settle as when they calm down they sleep cuddled up to each other ::) boys hey?

i am off to pick up a bigger cage later, so i think that will help them settle once they have plenty of space :)

the boys are now rumbling at each other, then popcorning like crazy 98) bob and munchie can hear it and look so confused ;D

I also had a little 'awwwwwww' moment, well done, it's nerve wracking but hopefully all your hard work will have paid off, well done!
 
they are now in their new cage and are both settling well.

since i put them in the new cage there has been no rumbling, and they have been asleep in the bed together for a few hours now :)

ive never seen merlin so relaxed and calm, usually he is bouncing around the cage, and constantly sat at the bars craving attention. i realise now it is as i suspected, he was really bored, and far too social a piggy to be on his own. so I'm glad i got him a friend sooner rather than later :)
 
all the pigs are in a very playful mood today!

both heath and merlin are playing, running out of the bed and tube, and bob and munchie have pretty much destroyed their cage in the night ::)

and i swear all 4 pig were having a wheeking contest all night ::)
 
such wonderful wonderful news :D :D I am glad they are happy together and that the vet check went well I hope hey continue to be a very happy couple :smitten: :smitten:
 
the brown one is heath O0 he is my new piggy :) i was going to temporarily rescue him but in the end he stayed and became friends with merlin :)

do you have piggies of minnie mouse?
