hello all, new here,
my daughter has 2 noisy, spoilt, demanding girlie piggies,( diane and wotsit) who live indoors, and we adore!
my daughter is autistic :)
our long haired girlie had a we lump on her bellie, so we off to the vet she went
surgery enused.
they are separated as told by vet, the poorly one is in a fish tank, lol cos separation did not cross my mind.she is healing well, and i want to know when i can put her back with her"sister" cos they are truely driving me bonkers cos they want to be together? when i let them run for wee a bit wotsit, tried to get back in her old home, and when we would not let her she got the raving hump and hid for ages(cant believe how "human" they are!) we are on day five of the stitches

I'm afraid I don't have any experience of post-surgery care so I don't have any practical help but just wanted to wish you well! Hope Wotsit's good recovery continues so she can be reintroduced to Diane very soon :)
 
How long is it since the operation? Has the vet checked her sutures yet?

It sounds like your piggies are still fairly young, so make sure that they have plenty of space when they meet and that the wound has healed enough not to tear open again if things get lively.

Where was the lump, and did the vet say what the lump was?

Is she going back to the vet for a post-op check and to have the stitches removed?

When Wotsit is allowed back with Diane will mostly depend on how well her wound is healing. :)
