Surprise!

WELL, after telling my OH a few times that i didn't want a pet shop pig or even two, he still couldn't control himself. I was rather irritated at first as they are 13 weeks old and much smaller than tango and I was worried if they would get on, the cage size etc. Thankfully introductions went well and they are quite happy together in the cage, although we will need to extend it now.
They are two boys, I have checked to make sure. So here are Shawn (white) and Gus (black), names from another fav T.V show of mine called Psych.

Men! they are lovely pigs though and glad all is going well so far. Just to warn you for the future that boar trios tend to be the most unstable grouping and it is possible that they may fall out when the little ones hit the hormones. However, as Tango is older it may be ok as you won't get all 3 of them hitting the hormones at once. Making the cage bigger will help.

Yeah I was worried about when they both hit puberty, I will keep a close eye on them though! Thanks for the input! Oh and my OH had a cheek to say all I talk about/post about are guinea pigs this and guinea pigs that, and HE is the one who goes and buys not one, but TWO, when I was only wanting one companion for Tango, I think he loves piggies more than he is letting on

My OH pretends not to care much about the piggies - saying they are just guinea pigs and look the same…
I reply - Maple does not look like Rambo at all! (Maple is my avi pic and Rambo is a full on white piggie with a mohawk!)

I do all the hardwork and he just sits around watching the piggies running around the garden it's a hard life...

my hubby used to say not another then when i had to nurse my texel and lost her he said get two more so we didnt have one on their own again.He used to stand and watch them. I did all the work, he just loved them
