Survivors Group Therapy

We refuse to eat our lettuce until we've had our urinary biscuits. Mom's going to have to let the boarder's know.. they're just too good.

Just an average morning: veg, meds, spot clean, popcorn, zoom, fresh Hay.

Chez just likes to hang out under the fleece even if he's not sleeping. He's eating and zooming when he's out, all seems fine. He pops out to eat, he does plenty of healthy poop, but he's obsessed with being under the fleece. In the morning he'll go under it for a minute then come back and eat. Under, out, under, out.
 
Fellow survivors,

I've had such a strange couple of weeks. Lost a friend, got a new friend, lost a tooth, got a new tooth... World of Kongo just spins around!
My tooth is not done yet, its a bit short but in a week or two it should be in full length. Slave is not sure if I lost my whole tooth or just broke a major part of the tooth. But its still amazing, and very fascinating too see it grow.
I have a little bit of trouble when eating veggies, slave still chops them in thinner slices and then it works all good. Hay is no problem at all, grass is even better! I told slave to try me on some pellets. She did. It worked all good!

Having a compadre in my house is a bit challenging. He adores me. I have to tell him off 99 times a day. I try to yawn to tell him I'm the boss, and slave says I only scare him away with my toothless grin... But actually I really enjoys having someone to eat and to go on adventures with. I can share everything besides my rainforest-bedroom and slaves lap.

Truffle has been under his sleeping mat. It's nice and cosy in there. Truffle wheeked for lettuce so MS came over and helped him look through the Timothy hay for seed heads. We are both enjoying being stroked now. Soft or what eh? 💜

You boys are just so spoiled.

Mom took a two hour nap. When we heard her get up Chez wheeked for attention. So she came in our room. Then she went to smoke so I wheeked and she came back.

We're both zooming a bit, it's our active time.

Slave can only imagine that argument about who's gonna be the top pig and who's gonna be the bottom 😅 Djingis screams, Kongo is doing his bull-act and shuffle the wood shavings around with his foot.

This bull-imitation... Is it common? Kongo is my only pig doing this (from what I've noticed). Its not something new with Djingis, he did it with both Chip and Joe too. It looks like he's going to attack, but I learned he doesn't. He just looks very much like a scary bull and talks with a really low, deep voice whilst doing it. its absolutely a dominance-behaviour!

Lasted like 15 minutes in the cuddle box together last night! Kongo looks offended because I stopped petting him to take a picture. When Djingis started to crawl around and tried to eat the brush it was time for him to go home. He gave me a real good lecture with his best screaming voice because I helped him down. How dare I give him a lift!

Is that bull-imitation a Rumble? Didnt understand that 😅 I have always wonder why Kongo thinks he is a bull. Rumble strutt is Djingis middle name. He strutts alot! But no one strutts like Bob. He was the king in his teens, hence the name Belsebob...
 
Lol! Yeah, rumble strutting is a dominance behavior. He's just letting Djingis know who's boss.

Lovely picture 💜 Fascinating behaviour, they are two outspoken boars. It's great they have such enriched lives.
 
Lol! Now you know. I had to look up guinea pig words in French and how to say greyhound for my trip to France!

I find I have a pretty good vocabulary, but never owned a car so wouldn't know how to get my carburetor replaced without a dictionary. Of course I did a lot of literary translation when I went to college in France so that really helped.

I used to work as an interpreter in the states. I have had two native speakers correct me! I said underarm instead of armpit and I made up a term for first aid kit. Later I looked it up and I had indeed been correct. Trousse de secours.

So funny its only Kongo who does this (what I've seen). He has always been so "off" in his behaviours compared to my other boars. I was so sceptical about bonding him to live as compadres with Djingis because "he does not speak pig". I've been told I'm wrong x2 now 😅

I'm really happy Kongo accepted to have a son! I know its not in their nature to live boar-boar, but I think it enriches his life so much to have someone to dominate around and to go on adventures with. I know he was happy as a neighbour to, but I always had a bit of a guilt towards him.

The one Kongo didn't match with - babyboy Chip - on Djingis new ride. I think Djingis would have loved Djingis and wants him to have his Harley. Those two wheek in excitement... 🥳

Djingis and I has some alfa-issues. He tells me everyday in his best attitude that I'm not his mummy! He just yells of excitement on male-slave and loves him (because he does not do health-checks, tell him to behave or chase him around when he escaped). My very old teenager I guess... 😂
 
It's 5:30 and the boys are wheeking, but it's the cat's lap time. They'll just have to wait.

Just woke up from a nightmare that no matter what I did, the boys escaped their cages and when I tried to put Stripe back he growled and bit me! Not a comforting dream when I have to bring them to the boarder's in a few hours.

Boarder's today, plane tomorrow.

I'm on summer o'clock! Slave slept too late yesterday and this morning. When she finally got up I was running around clucking like a chicken of hunger. In the winters I wake up when she sticks my cucumber under my nose, but sunny weather equals a clucking Kongo. Djingis chased the tail he still doesn't have. I dont know if he ever will understand that? I told him so many times Guinea pigs dont have tails. He told me I wouldnt know, I'm too big to see if I have one. What?! Do I have a tail?

Don't worry, they will be fine. Even when the piggies are away, their slave works on 😉

The question is... what books in French do I triage for the suitcase? Farsi grammar books in French? Philosophy books? Fiction?

There won't be enough room for everything!
