I've heard about this crazy little fellow Pikachu that jumped the grids. I also heard he had the bodyshape of a very round pear, so I wouldnt be surprised if Djingis can jump the grids. He's very slim, like a slinky. Me? No, I'm not a bumble bee. I'm very good at climbing but if I try to jump it looks like I have a seizure.
II'll call the vet about ritalin to Djingis. I was thinking about giving him from Joes magic pills, but I remember Joe acted a bit drunk and was very hungry on those gaba. Ritalin slows down the appetite, right? I want all the food for myself you know...

Or boys, what do you think about your hammock? Would it be something for Djingis to act some of that energy out on? I imagine he will treat it like something to crawl around in and jump on, but whatever floats his boat. I can survive his excited chattering (all. The. Time. He cant take a breath without talking), if he stops run around outside my rainforest-bedroom.
 
Yes, I think Djingis would enjoy a hammock. He can be a sailor on an adventure on an island 🏝️ 😄 Basil is suitable, but Djingis climbing skills have yet to produce the moonlight Oreo 🌕🍪 🏹🐎🏍️
 
After a little mantrum from mister Kahn we now know how he escapes in silence. He jumps from the roof of his house, over the grids, lands on a plastic-box and crawls down to his freedom. Today he was so angry at us he just had to scream while doing this little number. I eat my hat, Djingis. I didn't even think about that way. I'm impressed! He's smart!

Very dark and zoomed pic, but this is how you know Djingis is offended and so mad. He always lays down like this with his paw out and stares. Guess he's plotting? 😂
 
Barrett has settled down on his gaba so I gave the boys breakfast.

I went out to smoke and there were two cats out there and I pspspsed but they ignored me.

I'm making poached eggs in tomato sauce tonight.

Because of my vacation I will miss two paychecks so budget time.

I'm not ready to go back to work but work Sunday.

It was kind of stressful to see Barrett sick. But good to see the boys munching and pooping like normal.

Stripe has been off antibiotics 5 months.
 
Survivors, does your slaves ever talk about shitlists?

Our slave says we're number two on her shitlists right now. Maleslave is really snorring sometimes and tonight slave had to go sleep on the couch. Next to our palace. We had a party! Kongo rumbled, Djingis strutted, Kongo did his bull-imitation, Djingis squealed, Kongo heard slave move and started to cluck like a chicken for food, Kongo tried to break out, Djingis jumped the houses.... Its only Friday once a wheeeek, we said when slave told us to be quiet.
Slave took the pillows from the couch and made a bed in the kitchen. She was brutally waken up by Mini-wiener wanting the toast machine three hours later.

Slave told us she was very angry at us. We ignored her and slept like babys. She tossed some romain on us. Maybe we are partly forgiven? Who cares, its Saturday guys!

Chez has a vet exam Wednesday and a nail trim. Stripe gets scared on his own but he'll be staying home. He just had an exam.

The boys just had some forage.

I have to get to the grocery store and sweep and vacuum today.

Barrett is doing well.

I don't know why Chez lets me pet him when he's under the fleece but never on top.

Back to work tomorrow!
 
Polo: MS trimmed Truffle's fur this morning. It was 26C so she jumped up and grabbed the hair scissors with uncharacteristic animation for 8am on a Saturday.
Truffle: MS trimmed away lots of fur and even took some of my mane off. But there is more ginger colour showing through, which she said looked nice. She accidentally put her finger in my mouth and I gave her a tiny nip. Well wouldn't you, if someone put their finger in your mouth?
Polo: We both lay around snoozing with the electric fan on in the room and cool pods in our cages.

Clean cages, health checks and personal care done. Polo had soft poop in his pouch so rowing back on the veggies, but pellet ration has been upped.
Polo: Truffle is crunching away on his veg 🥗 but I'm pleased with the pellets 🥣

Mom went out to smoke and saw a lovely pink sunrise behind the trees. When she went out again it was gone.

She has to leave in three hours so as soon as we're done with our veg she has to deep clean our cages.

Barrett trotted up to mom because he was excited to sit on her lap. This is the first time he's ran since being home. He's going to get his gabapentin a little late so it lasts the whole shift.

Mom had a dream her own mom was helping her pack up and move from France to the US.

Djingis got some critical care yesterday and refuses to wash his mouth. He has the worst manners ever when eating (absolutely too cute to look at while eating. Especially critical care). Critical care is a very good way to bond with this little fellow because he gets so happy and runs towards me, but wash him afterwards is a setback...
 
I took Polo from the play pen to check his bottom. Hmm, some poop stain, perhaps he has soft poos. He wriggled upright as I was about to clean his boar pouch so I gently turned him over again. The bit of moist poop was missing... well, not really, it was on my trousers in various places. This could be part of a long list of guinea pig secret weapons 💩👖🎯
