If I know Kongo right, the only thing he will miss is that big cage. I think we just have to accept he wants his own space, I'm just sad he had to break another tooth and the stress that chasing must have been for both of them (mostly poor Djingis). Didnt have any staff this night at work, so I'm stuck here until tomorrow but maleslave send me a video of Kongo eating some hay and cucumber. Maleslave found a new hobby in syringefeeding this little fatty. Kongo has thanksgiving everyday when you talk about syringes! No fuzz like Joey! Djingis seems okay, very mad that divider is up and making a show. Happy he's fast, and in some ways I'm happy he's so fast Kongos tooth are in the house and not in Djingis...

Very much poor Djingis. Old pic, but that roof is up again. I dont trust him NOT to try to jump to Kongo! He says Chez is his new bestie, and Stripe and Kongo can have their bully-club together.

We can thank Kongos tanksized body. He's not as flexy as Yoga-Djingis. Kongos majestic beach 2025-body does not really allow him to wash his golden nuts either, so yoga-Djingis was half way to Denmark while Kongo was getting ready to jump him. The bam when he hit the house was... wow. He was so sad, I guess it must have hurted poor chap.

A question guys;
my boys does really LOVE critical care. Kongo can absolutely take 30ml in one feeding (!). He's not off hay, I've monitored him this morning, he eats it with a bit of a struggle without that tooth. He's also eating grass. So, ofc we're topping him. But... Can I litteraly give to much? Should I slow him down and only give 15ml/time? This boy are soooo hungry you know, and no way he skips the hay or grass he can eat. He inhales like 30ml cc and then he eats hay. Can a Guinea pig eat too much?

Have to monitor him today and tomorrow. Right now he seems just fine, a bit frustrated when trying to eat, but this slave might need a vet-visit on Monday to calm ger nerves

Yes, he was 23g plus from Monday when I last weighed him. Yesterday he had around 80ml. When Joe had his nervous crash this winter and only ate basil and spinach by his own I gave him between 70-90ml and that was my whole day. Kongo could eat a big bag in two days just because its soooo gooooood. And eat some hay, grass or veggies...

Just feed enough to keep him stable. Maybe cut down a little? You can't really judge hay intake by eye. Id weigh him every morning.

I was zooming wheeking popcorning! It'll be even better when we do cage cleaning in an hour.

Chez poos and pees on the coroplast and he got a mess on his feet. He wouldn't let mom wipe it but thankfully it came off when he walked on hay and his feet don't look red or anything.

Mom's dad sent $500 for mom to use as a backup. That was nice.

Day off, just have to run to the bank before noon.

It's a good question. I would give him as much CC as he wants until his tooth is looking better and he can eat hay more easily. You don't want any issues with stasis. The mods will know more though.

Yeah, I'll do that. I cant really tell how many straws he eats by his own (or how many he needs in a day either), just that he eats some of his own. He always have a ball with critical care in his cage so he can eat whenever, but he really loves this handfeeding and have so much space in that tummy

Like my slave said: I'm mister toothless again because of yoga-Djingis. I dont need glasses. It was totally his fault!

Yesterday I was a bit blue and frustrated when I ate my hay and fresh grass. It was a challenge. Slave got her hooman-paws on a bag of cc Apple&banana and I was hyper for a while! I can eat my veggies if they are chopped the right way.

Today it looks like I learned the tricks to eat more hay. I'm very pleased and munch, and then get more pleased when slave also gives me cc from that tasty syringe. I'm up and about and acting like a Kongo does.

Djingis also was a bit low yesterday. Slave guess this little chasing, crash and separation was a bit stressing for both of us. Slave is very confused, we meet at the divider like all the time and are very friendly. Washes ourselfs, licks noses, soft talking. No hostility or high pitching at all.

Lets pray my new tooth is a fast one!

Kongo: this kiddo has too much energy. He's like everywhere. Tossing balls around, climbing on things, running and jumping. He put his nose in my bumm for the last time!

Djingis:
Buddys, now when I cant reach Kongo I'm veryveryvery bored. I toss all my things around like crazy, moving things and runs. Do you have any good toys? Tell me! I have four different balls, a stuffed animal and some kind of treatoy but I'm just tossing things around. I'm bored. Very bored. I need toys!

I have a new hobby that makes mom just furious, I move my pee pad and the bottle drips on the fleece. She puts my hut but I move that too.

Mom slept in till 7! Of course we were confused so wheeking.

Mom has 3 days off.

Djingis has now start to come up to the divider when he sees slave. I've always done that, she's our foodlady! Djingis is a bit slow.

Today I DONT want critical care. I take like half the syringe nicely, and then I want to eat by my own. I can eat fresh grass and nicely cut veggies on my own, and some straws of hay but not nearly enough. Slave does not want me to eat too much grass either, so I'm pissed. Slave has the day off so she's syringe me like half the 15ml syringe every 1,5hour today. Vet said to take a deep breath, keep giving metacam and call again tomorrow if I stop eating or are off my Kongo-map in any way tomorrow. Slave can see whats left of my tooth down there and its very small. Well, ofc shes very anxious and cries every 2-hours. She hates to see me struggle with that hay and she's so mad at me being so stubborn with the syringe today.

He always has a dish, but never touched it if I'm not with him. I think he really loves loves the syringe and particularly the handfeeding, but wants to eat hay. I just had the honors to hand feed him a very good portion of hay!
Thats very good with Kongo, he truly wants human-company and its so easy to monitor him.

Slave is going to a seminar today and Kongo was a good and hungry boy this morning. 15ml straight up, some cucumber, a little hay and grass. Best boy in the world

I think I should have metacam even after my toothies are back to normal! It should be in my everyday diet. I think that if Miss Bramble start a petition to the president of the piggyworld and we put our pawprints on it, we would win the fight! I think the president would have respect for Miss Brambletude and just do what she says. Djingis can back her up vocally. Me? Well, I might be very big but I'm so soft and so easy to manipulate. Give me some parsley and you have me at Hello...

Surviving being a Slave therapy;

you know when you have a ill/wounded pig at home that needs you, and you have to leave the house for a couple of hours and that anxiety you build up on the inside with every step on your way home? How is he, is he alive? Have I killed him? You unlock the door with your heart beating so hard and are so near panic and the pig is just lying there on the side....
Well, Kongo just took one of his death naps. And almost scared me to death. He woke up when I stomped and called on him again. He took his little bumm to the divider, and ate 15ml. He then munched on some hay. He poos that was very mushy yesterday looks so good today. Right now the little king are lying down very comfy in his pampers-box while handfeed him red pepper.

Second best part was that I squeezed my nose between the grids and Djingis came up and smelled my nose thoroughly. He's very cute in close up too!

Chez is peculiar. If I try to pet him when he's on top of the fleece, he jumps away. But if he's under the fleece and next to the bars, he loves to be pet on his cheek. What is in his head?
