Mom has a dental appointment today.

MS: I hope the dentist goes OK and no procedures necessary. At the moment I'm sitting where Truffle can't see me (under a table) as he is asking for more veg and they have already had lots of spinach and spring greens today.
Polo: I think my coat would blend in with all of the black and white uniforms 🥹 🏖️🚢🥥🌴
 
We are averaging about 30 minutes without asking for cookies. This is much better than the 5 minutes of before.

My cage will most likely be set up Saturday. Mom bought a second drying rack today so she can do both our fleeces on the same day.

Dentist was good, just need to buy a small toothbrush because mom's mouth is small and she had some gingivitis on the back teeth.

Looking forward to pictures of Stripe in his new fleece bedroom 🏡
 
Polo: I like coriander and Truffle sniffs it and nibbles a little bit. He likes lettuce, mine sits around uneaten and wilts. Truffle finishes cucumber, the middle of mine gets eaten, the rind goes out at cleaning time. But we both love spring greens 🥬! MS put bits of it in our puzzle feeder and we both nosed it out and ate it, although she left the lids ajar to help us ❤️

Message from Joe: you guys needs to try basil. The only time I ever screamed for food was when I got basil. Today slave is going to give Djingis basil for the first time and see how he reacts. I will watch from the bridge, munching on basil. Slave is sure I'm eating it everyday now. She hopes I share with my brothers, but in her heart she knows I would never ever share the smallest spring...

The basil did not survive Kongo. He had his floortime and Djingis basil was in between the c&c. Djingis was not really sure about the basil, he tasted two leafs and then he had a to run around to think about this and when he got back Kongo was done and climbing me for more. Kongo has surprisingly fast feets, a nose like a narcotics-dog and always wants to help a brother out. I'm sure he thought that Djingis tummy was full. Kongos tummy is like a glass of opportunities - always half filled! Very clear Djingis never tasted basil before. I think he decided it was good. He will get some more when Kongo is sleeping...

Promised Kongo a bigger hay-tray. He loved to sleep and play in his tray but he says it did shrink.
 
Such a lovely picture of Joe relishing his basil dinner. Munch happily Joe, and watch over your old home, sweet piggy. Djingis, no Oreos, maybe basil, Kongo must think he has strange tastes. Basil is very yummy 🌿 we will ask MS to get us some. Finding a big hay tray must be a bit tricky. Perhaps a cat litter tray would work?
 
Hi Survivors!

You should see how good we're being. Last night mom came home from work and we were almost going to bite the bars. Our heads were tilted towards them, but we were thinking real hard about it, we were ready to do it, but we stopped ourselves! Mom thought it was so cute and smart!

Hopefully my fleece comes today so mom can wash it and set up my new house tomorrow.

She has an evening shift today so we'll spend a lot of time with her.

Found out cousin Rosa, the toy Chihuahua, went into acute kidney failure and died. Only one year old. Auntie Cassandra is thinking about getting a French bulldog with hydrocephalus. The rescue is going to call mom for a reference.

So sad you lost little Rosa. I hope your aunt's new doggie will be OK. Clever piggies not bar biting ❤️

In a couple hours mom is setting up the cage. She doesn't think there's going to be much room for her to sit!
