Thanks Miss Bramble. We enjoyed an extra big pile because she worries about us running out at work.

But... she did employ another trick this morning. Since we had so much left over from yesterday, she faked giving us more by putting a tiny handful on top! She really thinks we won't notice this sh!t.

Hello survivors,

this is doomsday. I have a track-record of mess things up on the third day into bonding. And yes, this morning I was a grumpy mister. Some scruffle. But we sorted things out.

Slave has been a bit worried about me. She was so close to phone the vet because from her perspective I only shuffled the hay around and took very small pieces. I eat grass, pellets and vegs like normal though. And critical care, with happiness.
Never before have I not eat my hay. I inhale it, I bath in it, I live for it! So, she was concerned and thought she stressed me out so much with this bonding thing.

And then she had to open a new bag. In two seconds I was scuba-Kongo. I took a very long haybath and ate like there was no tomorrow.
I just suddenly became a quality-controller. I give the new bag a 9 of 10! But I can still take some of that critical care.

Djingis? Oh well slaves got really mad at him yesterday because we had floortime and he didnt want to stay on our magic carpet. OG-slave was trying to stop his way with pretty heavy wooden elephants but Djingis just tossed them around. Male-slave got offended when Djingis humped on of those poor elephants. OG-slave got tired of Djingis when he wanted to crawl under the sofa for like the seventh time (but he's to big to get in there. He does NOT accept that fully and screams at the sofa!). He's really a handful. Lucky he is very cute.

He's all back to normal. He was running around, jumped the grids and sounded like a little dove now when I came home from work. And its hay everywhere. Looks like Chernobyl in their cage.... 😂
 
Mom's thinking about cutting out my pellets for a week because I have a lot of calcium in my pee. I'm zooming right now because I don't know about it yet. Three times I have chattered my teeth while toileting so mom moved up our exams to next Wednesday. I hope I don't have sludge. Or worse, a stone. But I haven't done it for a couple days and I don't like my bladder support tablets.

Chez lets mom pet him all she wants if he's under the fleece. But runs away if he's on the fleece. He seems to really enjoy it when she does it, but he's funny.

When Joe had his stone his vet recommended him Alfavet RodiCare Uro. We never really had a chance to try this product with Joe, it arrived after he crossed the bridge. The reviews at Amazon are very positive though. Look in to it, maybe its something for Stripe?

Yes, he was going to have it after the removal to prevent new stones.

Yes, MS has reduced my formerly plentiful supply of pellets so now instead of having them on tap I have to ask for them. The only time I wheek (I have a soft voice and sound like I'm talking) is when the pellet bowl is empty. I sit at the bars and stare meaningfully at MS who is getting better at responding 😉 She's worried about the white stuff in our wee. Truffle leaves most of his pellets 🥱 and eats a lot more veg than I do 🥬🥒🫒 I hope Stripe doesn't have any urinary issues and things go well at the vet🙏

You're right. I have to change the time. Is 4am better? That could count for a breakfast-escape. Djingis is very creative about getting in to things. Maybe he can get in to the fridge and make me some breakfast?

is this something to mail miss Bramble about? I've heard so much about her now (and learned she does not wants pictures of my shrimp, thank you Kongo!).

Slave just managed to cut my nails by herself. No, not fun at all! I did all my ninja moves, and I'm like a slinky. I kick, I fight, I SCREAM! So she put a sock over my head! It was like my own private Earth hour in there. Slave said I looked like I've missunderstood this ku Klux klan-thing. But it calmed me down a bit. Slave managed to cut all my nails of!

And when she was done and took the sock off she said that next time she will use male-slaves used sock. Like a threat. I'm going to die, right? Can Bramble help me out? This is evil!

How very dare your Slave put a sock over your head! All you were doing was complaining a bit about having your nails cut. I hate my nails being cut by my Slave. However, I like Aunty Lilli cutting my nails. Do you have an Aunty Lilli who can do it for you?

Anyway, I digress. This treatment by your Slave is just terrible! I certainly wouldn't be putting up with that! Next time it comes to having your nails cut, it's much kinder on you if she turns you into a Djingis Burrito with your favourite blanket with the foot that needs the nails cut on it poking out at the top or bottom of the burrito. Its good fun being rolled up in your favourite blanket!

To ensure this happens next time you need to:-
  • Hint heavily that you need to be rolled up in your blanket by being on it at nail cutting time and make sure it smells all right by dragging your bum all over it and scent marking it​
  • If your Slave comes near you with the dreaded Klu Klux Klan Private Earth Sock, play catch me if you can and don't let her catch you​
  • Make sure that you have pooped plenty on her lap as Slaves like to see Poops of Protest as they're happy that your digestive system is working properly​
I hope you never have to endure such behaviour again.

I was so relaxed! It was hugs and cuddle in slaves arms for like 10minutes. Kongo took a wee in the size of lake Michigan. Then we wanted to go home. Slave is pretty sure I was more into cuddle Kongo and thats why I stayed put in her arms, but thats doesn't matter.

We had our veg and in a half hour we're having cages cleaned. It's not a health check day but mom is going to look at chez's penis. Promise, she is not a pervert. She just noticed a little tissue the other day sticking out.

At 10:30 some guys are coming to give estimates on new windows for the house and to tell her if they need to be replaced or not. We had earwigs last year but a handyman caulked the windows and then it was fine. The inspection is free and the quote is good for a year.

I'm only getting five pellets after cage cleaning because of calcium in my pee.

Mom's last day off then a heavy weekend.

I don't know how you cope, I'm slightly addicted to my pellets. MS has cut them down and at dinner I say in plain guinea pigese I'd like some more. She goes and gets another thimbleful.
Yes, there are a lot of things that can go wrong that are based on the you know what. MS goes on about my grubby bottom and my grease gland 🙁 and worries about infections and sperm rods and dried smegna build up.
I had a dose of Ivermectine on my ears last night. Cue kicking, scratching, nipping piggy. MS put a blanket round me as I was rather wild. Truffle: Mommy Slave put Ivermectine on my ears and she was very pleased about how calm I was. It's quite sticky and gave me a cow lick in my fur.

My penis was in the foreskin but just a little tissue sticking out. But it was clean. Our new vet will take a look see Wednesday. I'm currently zooming in my clean cage.
