Instead of Trump's "big beautiful bill" Kongo is big beautiful boy
My wallet says he's a big beautiful bill! Last weeks I spent 60$/weekly on critical care. Not to mention all the other stuff he demand, like cucumber without the shell. Just to throw away. And Oxbow western hay. And watermelon. Djingis on the other hand is very cheap. He prefers the cheaper Timothy hay and romain. A party is when he gets some broccoli! Kongo? He thinks hes a superstar or something...

He IS a superstar, the biggest boy in forumland.
Kongo,
why don't you eat the cucumber skin? It's the bit with all the flavour. We always eat that bit first.

I love the flesh because it makes my beautiful chins smudgy and wet , slave thinks. She always though I'm not that in to cucumber. I just got it because the other boys wanted it. She started to peel it when I lost my tooth because it was easier for me to eat without the skin, and realized I'm a big fan of cucumber! Before I could leave pretty big parts of it but now I just dive in. Djingis only eats the skin on a watermelon, I want the red smudge and I love to get my feets dirty while eating it. Slave often calls me Sticky Feets.

Hello handsome! Those free boxes are the best.

Actually the boxes kept them from begging for quite a while. Of course, when they were done playing they thought of cookies so I had to leave.

The scattered forage gives them something to do for twenty minutes.

I have to have someone help me move a chair. I want to get a big gate for floor time but that chair is in the way. Maybe when they come to replace the windows I can kindly ask one of the guys to help me.

I chattered my teeth at med time today, so she didn't do lap time. Too bad for her. She really wanted a cuddle.

We have been really enjoying our scattered forage. Usually in the evening is our bad begging time, but last night we were content to forage without begging. We never beg in the morning.

Mom's got 4 days off in a row! Today she has to get groceries and clean kitchen.

She has 500 pages left of her book so she used self control not to buy another book.

Actually her existentialism display has sold some books and now they are talking about potentially making mom a manager in September, maybe if she can tick all the boxes of the new review process!

More money for forage!
Excellent, super news, I hope you get promoted🙏 If Chez chatters his teeth, maybe picking him up would be good. If he's trying to scare you away, you can be a bit stubborn.

Do you put hay out for floor time?
My boys has their "magic carpet" where I place some hay (often in a paper bag), a play tunnel for cats, a house and some balls. Kongo often stays on the carpet (close to the food) or tries to run to the kitchen, Djingis always wants to explore miniwheeners room and crawl into that forbidden corner. Kongo makes a mess on the carpet, Djingis leaves a chaos...

I just talked to the window guy about when they were going to come. I asked if he could help me move a chair and he said yes. He didn't seem super happy about it, but his words said it's no problem. Then I will have room for floor time and maybe Chez will become more tame.

I can't wait to sit on the floor with Chez. I'm going to get a dog gate and put a plastic tablecloth down then a sheet because I have carpet. It's going to be so much fun. I hope he eventually lets me pet him during floor time, I have a feeling he will.

That way when he eventually needs medical treatment he won't be so hard to handle.

He'll have a blast, I bet.

Stripe will enjoy his turn too.

It's very cute seeing them at eye level. If I nap lying on the carpet, the piggies will often come over to sit close by as if they are a bit concerned. If I sit up, they will run away. Polo comes up for food and Truffle runs over for a piece of mini cucumber ❤️

I just know they will love it I would have done it sooner but with Barrett and then that chair taking up half the room...

I haven't had a handyman out and living alone it's just too heavy. Id ask my neighbor but I prefer someone strong because it could fall on Stripe's cage.

They need some time out of their cages and a change of scenery.

I use a cheap picnic-blanket from IKEA as a magic carpet. Its soft and nice to lay down on for them, and when its well used I just throw it out and buy a new one (its not food, so Kongo is okay with that!).

Its a very good way to bond! And so fun to see them go on adventures and get zoomies.
Djingis still thinks I'm a bit scary from time to time, but he's getting closer and closer. Kongo runs towards all people coming in to the living room when he's out. We might have food and he's very hungry and handsome. If you sit down it doesn't really matter if he knows you well or not - he comes very close and wants to smell your hands. With me he has not boundaries, my lap is his throne. But I still dont know if he really is a Guinea pig, this one...

I was having a nap in the playpen last night and somepig started scratching at my elbow. I looked up to see Truffle standing in front of me looking at me meaningfully. He wanted to go back into his cage ❤️ Wake up slave 🤨

Sweet Kongo, wonderful piggy ❤️

The box boys are enjoying breakfast.

Stripe is looking...ahem... quite round. He gets weighed tomorrow.

Appointment at 10-11 then I'll go to the pet store for that gate
