I suspect that some of my girls might have mites, so they're being treated for that, but while I was looking at all the different shampoos I saw stuff to use on their homes, but I wonder whether this is suitable for their fleece? The fleece is washed and rotated regularly but how do you treat the fleece?

i would imagine a hot wash through the machine is enough to kill anything in the fleece.

I wouldnt expect any mites to live in the fleece or survive the wash in the machine to be honest. A good biological washing powder/soup/gel will kill them if there are any.

Thanks! Fleece is all being washed and changed just now

That should do the trick ;). Also I would have thought that the mites would stay on the host, if they left a warm host they wouldn't survive for long.
